Golden Chlorella has the ability to reduce cholesterol and decrease hypertension, both of which can lead to cardiovascular problems & arteriosclerosis (the hardening and thickening of artery walls). It may also prevent hyperlipidemia and atherosclerosis.

The Chlorella microalgae also inhibits in vitro the formation of AGEs (Advanced Glycation End products), complex sugars that lead to the development of pathologies such as diabetes and arteriosclerosis.
