Microalgae

Nutrients from the water

Microalgae are single-cell algae that have been around for over billions of years, and are among the oldest living organisms in the world. They grow world-wide in fresh water, and can be cultivated on wet walls as well. They use the sun’s energy to produce bioactive nutrients. The most commonly known microalgae families are Spirulina platensis and Chlorella vulgaris.

Microalgae are one of the most sustainable plant-based proteins available, as production is linear and no conversion or extraction is required. They are the perfect addition to your diet due to their naturally high protein, vitamin and nutrient content.
